Byron Smith returns to Climb Highest Peak in Americas to Inspire Stroke Victims


On Dec 25, 2010  MDA Director & Dealer Member, Byron Smith leaves for Argentina to climb Aconcaqua, the highest peak in the Americas.

 

In addition to being an adventurer, he is the Dealer Principal at Byron Smith Ford in Strathmore.

 

Byron has climbed the highest mountains on each continent, the Seven Summits which can be viewed at www.Byronsmith.com.

 

Byron will be arriving at base camp on Dec. 31 and it will take 10-12 days to complete the climb.

Byron Smith PeakByron suffered a stroke in September caused by an aneurysm but has made a full recovery and has his doctor's blessing to climb.  He is doing it as an inspiration to himself and all stroke survivors to show that you can lead a full life after suffering a stroke.  A fund raising page has been set up on the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation website at www.heartandstroke.ab.ca
