We are We are seeking dynamic and technically savvy individuals to work in our Strathmore based Ford dealership, 20 minutes east of CALGARY. AB. Our community has all the major amenities and a population of over 14,000.
This is an ideal role for customer focused and experienced individuals to diagnose and complete repairs and/or service on vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability for the company.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Licensed Journeyman Technician or a 4th year apprentices with Ford specialties.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 - 4:30 pm, however Saturdays and extended hours may be required. Above all, you are a highly organized and motivated individual who is able to tackle projects in an accurate and timely manner. You are knowledgeable and approachable and thrive on working in a fast-paced environment.
In return for your hard work, an Automotive Technician who works for Byron Smith Ford will make a very lucrative flat rate between $35-$46 per hour dependent on your Ford Specialties,
· 2.50 for Diesel certification
· 1.50 for Transmission or Gas Driveability
· 1.00 for each additional Ford Specialty
· plus additional efficiency bonus. For the efficiency bonus, you will receive
o 50cents per hour for a 200 hour month,
o Plus another 50 cents for 225 hours and
o Plus another dollar after 250 hours.
Byron Smith Ford will also provide a Loyalty Bonus ?
· For every hour you work, we will put $2 away for you!
· After you complete 5 years of continuous employment we will cut you a check for the full amount!
· Here is an example; If you average 225 flat rate hours per month over 5 years you can receive $2 x 2700 hours/year x 5 years = $27,000!
· After the first 5 years, the loyalty bonus continues and is paid out every second year. paid out every second year.
